WHO WE ARE

Jon has taken an interest in automotive calibrations on both the OEM and aftermarket sides many years before any involvement with JP. During the pandemic, he took the time to further his knowledge of late model calibrations with a focus on the coyote platform.

With unmatched parts and technical knowledge, he is happy to help make suggestions on improvements or troubleshooting issues you are having during the tuning process. Jon does installs in the shop as well as calibration so you can potentially deal with one person from start to finish if you choose us to do your work in addition to your calibration.

Mike has been involved in the automotive community since his first fox body back in 2006. With experience as a Ford Master Technician as well as specialty electrical experience from the emergency services upfitting industry, he is a great fit for calibrating your vehicle.

Mike currently runs an automotive department for a high school district near Austin, TX, but is able to get in depth with calibrations and customers as well. 

Jake has a background in both mechanical and electrical engineering with degrees in both from UCONN. He has an in depth knowledge of the multiple Subaru platforms from engine builds to writing custom operating systems. He offers both in person dyno tuning at our CT location as well as remote tuning for supported platforms. 

Jake is fluent in multiple software platforms from Cobb to open-source options. He will also selectively take on platforms other than Subaru with prior consultation, such as Honda, Toyota, Mitsubishi, and Dodge. Reach out if you'd like to get an appointment with Jake on the dyno!

Matt is one of the founders of JPT and while no longer actively tuning with us, still provides us with valuable tools and information to help us develop the best calibrations we can. Matt is a technologist and embedded software engineer with a passion for calibrating complex vehicle builds and applying technology to improving the customer experience.

Matt holds a BS of Computer Engineering and started his aftermarket career in 2002 at only 17 years old with BamaChips, prior to their American Muscle acquisition. 

Matt has worked in the aftermarket calibrations space with companies such as Lund Racing, HP Tuners building leading calibration definitions, and EzLynk developing an industry leading cloud based ECM profile engine.

Matt isn't just a calibrator / tuning specialist, he is a programming / coding specialist as well. Matt's combined knowledge of automotive engineering and aftermarket calibrating makes JPT the ultimate choice for ECU tuning.
